MEDIA, Pa - The Swarthmore College women's cross country team placed first overall and had five individuals finish inside the top-10 at the Bryn Mawr Invitational. 

Olivia Montini was sensational in her collegiate debut as the first year took home the individual victory. Rose Teszler also put together a top-three effort as she set a new course personal record.



HOW IT HAPPENED
- Montini crossed the finish line at 20:28.0 to finish 15-seconds ahead of the next closest runner. The first-year ran a 6:35.2 mile pace and ran towards the front of the pack for the entire race. 

- Teszler returned to the course after a highly-successful junior campaign where she qualified for nationals in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. Teszler opened her senior year with a third place finish with a time of 20:54.7 to earn a course personal record. 

- Cat Crochunis-Brown was eighth overall with a time of 22:13.7 to finish third on the team. Ella Shenkar and Morgan McErlean rounded out the top-10 with times of 22:14.0 and 22:14.9, respectively. Maddie Farber ran in the same pack, but placed just outside the top-10 with a time of 22:18.5.
