The Short Story: In a split weekend for the Johns Hopkins cross country teams, a group of men & women traveled to Bethlehem, PA to compete in the 47th Lehigh Paul Short Run. The men and women both finished 18th in the Brown race.
Race Highlights
- Competing in a mixed field between Divisions I, II & III,
Katharine Priu led the way for the Blue Jay women, placing 20th with a time of 21:52.9 in the 6K race. Priu finished sixth among Division III competition with Dickinson's Isabel Cardi coming away with a race victory.
Miranda Jimenez placed 96th for the Jays, crossing the line in 23:01.4.
Ava Crawford (23:07.5),
Andrea Newman-Rivera (23:26.5) and
Anna Warmack (23:51.2) rounded out the top-five for the Jays.
- The men also finished 18th, scoring 532 points. Freshman
Andrew Myers led the way, finishing 44th with a time of 25:39.8 in the 8K race.
Tommy Li grabbed a 72nd-place finish with a time of 26:00.3. Junior
Bryce Thalheimer also finished in the top-100 for Hopkins, finishing 94th. Thalheimer crossed the finish line in 26:16.5.
Charlie Teeter (26:31.8) and
Arjun Subramanian (27:28.3) rounded out the top-five for Johns Hopkins.
