The Muhlenberg football team clinched its spot in the NCAA postseason and at least a share of the Centennial Conference title for the second consecutive year with a 44-3 win at Gettysburg.

The Mules (9-0, 8-0), who rank second in the South Region in the initial NCAA regional rankings, own at least a piece of their 11
th CC championship and can clinch the title outright outright with a win next week against Moravian. Muhlenberg's seventh-straight win over Gettysburg marks the 37th over the last four years, making this senior class the winningest class in program history.

Muhlenberg's offense totaled 495 yards on the day, 403 in the air and 92 on the ground. The defense held the Bullets (1-7, 1-8) to just 170 yards of total offense, 95 in the first half and 85 in the second half.

Frankie Feaster lead the defense with nine tackles and 1½ sacks. Sophomore
Quentin Ogren also registered a sack. Senior
Mickey Kober totaled eight sacks.

Michael Hnatkowsky threw for a career-high 397 yards and four touchdowns, his fifth game this season with four or more touchdown passes. Classmate
Mitch Daniel racked up a career-high 148 receiving yards on seven catches with a touchdown. Senior
Mark Riggio led the ground attack with 80 yards on 17 carries, including 31 on a hard-nosed run on a third and 12 in the first quarter to set up the Mules' first field goal.

After taking a 19-3 lead to halftime, the Mules scored on their first five drives of the second half. Senior
Daymon Fleming returned the second-half kickoff 39 yards before the offense went another 48 yards in eight plays to set up a 29-yard field goal by senior
Todd Spirt.

Hnatkowsky capped a 12-play, 69-yard drive with a sneak from the one on the next drive before connecting with junior
Nick Ugarte, who juked a defender on his way to a 35-yard score on the following possession. Senior
Chris Hillburn put the exclamation point on the game with a 70-yard catch and run untouched up the middle of the field early in the fourth quarter.

Michael Feaster was the first to find the end zone when he caught a 42-yard bomb from Hnatkowsky up the left side early in the second quarter.

Kevin Olifiers punt on Muhlenberg's next possession pinned the Bullets (1-8, 1-7) at their own one-yard line. The Mules' defense forced a three and out and picked up a safety when the Gettysburg punter stepped out of the back of the end zone on fourth down. Scoring in the first half closed with a 32-yard catch and run from Daniel up the right sideline.
