• Records: JHU (11-3-1, 5-2-0 CC) • MC (6-6-2, 1-5-1 CC)
• Location: Westminster, MD • Green Terror Soccer Complex
• The Short Story: On a chilly and windy day in Westminster, the 17th-ranked Johns Hopkins men's soccer team rode a pair of first-half goals to a 2-1 win over host McDaniel Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays struck twice in a span of just 78 seconds to take the early 2-0 lead on the Green Terror. Sophomore Pablo Martinez put Hopkins on the board in the 18th minute with his team-leading fifth goal of the season. Freshman Tim Treinen crossed the ball to Martinez, who headed it past McDaniel goalie Aaron Bilbie at the far post.
• Just a short time later, the lead was two. Martinez fired a shot that was stopped by Bilbie, but he was unable to control the rebound. Sophomore Alejandro Maclean was there to put home the rebound and match Martinez with his fifth goal of the season.
• The Green Terror cut the deficit in half when Nick Starr played a through ball to Jacob Wells. He took the pass and slotted a shot inside the right post in the 83rd minute.
