Women's Golf competes at The Bridges Golf Club

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Green Terror opened their season at their home course for the McDaniel Fall Invitational.

McDaniel finished in sixth-place to start off their 2022 campaign. Recording a team score of 437, they finished just behind Gettysburg and Dickinson. Franklin & Marshall won the event with a team score of 344. 

Freshman Abby Wesche led the way for the Green Terror with a score of 98. On the third hole which was a 262-yard par 4, she sunk her fourth shot to make par. On the back nine, she stepped up to the tee box on the 16th hole and was able to make par as well. Sophomore Vaishali Bhatt came in second for McDaniel posting a score of 105. She found a rhythm on the back nine and was able to par the 11th and 14th holes. Junior's Daniela Babich and Zoey Smalls also competed for the Green Terror.

Casey Oppenheimer from Stevenson was at the top of the individual leader board with a 75 for the Mustangs of Stevenson. Ashley Ea (81) of Cabrini and Claire Hill (82) of Franklin & Marshall rounded out the top three finishers.

McDaniel returns to action this Saturday at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The Match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 P.M.
