LANCASTER, Pa. -- Swarthmore College Field Hockey lost 2-0 on the road against No. 12-ranked Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday afternoon.
Garnet (5-5, 1-3) senior goalie
Zelda Bank made a season-high 18 saves in the loss, her most in a game since saving a career-high 19 shots on Sept. 24, 2016.
A pair freshman,
Heide Van Voorhis and
Emily Hapgood, each made defensive saves in the game as well.
Swarthmore was able to keep the score at 2-0 despite allowing 35 shots and 16 penalty corners against the Diplomats (8-2, 3-1).
The Garnet have another Centennial Conference game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they face Washington College (2-8, 2-2).
