SWARTHMORE, Pa. - No. 16 Swarthmore College Women's Swimming had no problem in the home opener as the Garnet defeated Bryn Mawr College in a Centennial Conference meet on Friday evening at Ware Pool.
After knocking off the Owls (2-5, 0-5 CC) with a score of 159-43, the Garnet improve to 5-0 overall and 5-0 in Centennial action. In the events, Swarthmore tallied 10 victories and only one second place finish, which came 1000-free.
In the opening race, the Garnet finished 1-2-3 in the 200-Medley relay. The team of

Annaliese Chen and
Mackenzie Tucker won in a time of 1:49.55.
Kaja Arusha,
Gaby Ma,
Lexi Duffy and
Erin Szuromi touched the wall in second with a time of 1:50.50.
Ursula Horn earned a second place finish in the 1000-free with a mark of 11:08.41.
Zoe Myers-Bochner finished in third with a time of 12:02.26.
Cara Lee and
Sarah Conley went 1-2 in the 200-free. Lee touched the wall in 1:59.39, while Conley finished in 2:00.54.
In the 50-free, Rotival touched in 24.75, while
Georgi Mathews added a second place finish with a time of 25.36. Wong won the 100-fly in 2:33.11, while Rotival added another first place finish with a time of 53.99 in the 100-free.
The Garnet return to the pool on December 3rd as they travel to compete in the Gettysburg Invitational.
