Meet Highlights

He posted his highest point totals in the 1,000-meter run (2:54.33, 721 points) and the 60-meter dash (7.65, 665). His mark in the 60-meter dash also moved him into tenth in school history in the event. His height of 13-02.50 in the pole vault also puts him in ninth on the all-time list. With the silver in the heptathlon, the junior now has tallied four medals between indoor and outdoor seasons.
- The dynamic duo of McKeever and Sheldon did it once again, finishing 2-3 for silver and bronze in the mile out of 32 runners with times of 4:21.44 and 4:21.51, respectively. The times moved them both on the program's all-time list to sixth and seventh, respectively. At the Susquehanna University Invitational a couple of weeks ago, Sheldon captured first and McKeever grabbed second in the mile.
- Barnes topped his PR for the second time this month as the senior leaped 22-01.75 to collect bronze in the long jump. The senior has now earned two career medals at the conference championship meet as he recorded his first during the 2017 outdoor season.
- After taking eighth in the preliminaries of the 60meter hurdles, junior Matt Simmers (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Indian Hills) placed seventh in the finals with a new PR of 9.23, which moves him into seventh all-time in indoor history.
- Gettysburg finished fifth in the 4x800-meter relay. The team of sophomore William Hopkins (Raleigh, N.C./Needham B. Broughton), junior Christian Rodriguez (Lancaster, Pa./McCaskey), McKeever, and Sheldon posted a time of 8:09.77, which puts them 10th all-time in program history.
- The 4x400-meter relay squad members of senior Jimmy Barnes (Sea Girt, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy), K.Barnes, senior Savoy Drummond (Bronx, N.Y./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]), and freshman Caden Giordano (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) placed sixth in the event.
- Sophomore Matthew Weller (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) took sixth in the high jump with a mark of 5-08.00.
- With a team score of 55 points, the Bullets finished sixth in the team standings, placing ahead of Swarthmore (48), McDaniel (28), and Franklin & Marshall (11). Johns Hopkins won the team title with 212.50 points while Ursinus (139), Dickinson (97), Muhlenberg (76), and Haverford (73.50) rounded out the top-five.
