How It Happened…
  • First Half
    • The Bullets jumped out to a demanding 14-0 start as the team knocked down four three-pointers with Duffey scoring the first five.
    • The hosts responded by spurting 17 points to pull within two at the 9:12 marker.
    • Gettysburg kept its composer and never gave up the lead as a lay-up by Antolini pushed the Bullets' advantage back to 10 with under 2:25 to play in the stanza.
    • Delaware Valley rallied back in the final two minutes, outscoring Gettysburg 11-2, to come within one at the half.
    • Gettysburg shot 10-of-18 (55.6 percent) from three-point range.
  • Second Half
    • The Aggies took the lead for the first time in the game 14 seconds into the final stanza after a Jordan Tucker lay-up.
    • From there, one score tie and five additional lead changes occurred in the back-and-forth second half battle.
    • A trey by Leder propelled the Bullets to regain the lead at the 13:51 marker and burst into a 25-10 run to make it an 18-point advantage with under 4:30 remaining.
    • The Aggies looked to make a comeback, but the Bullets forced two turnovers and hit four attempts from the free throw line in the last 51 seconds to seal the non-conference win.
By the Numbers
  • Gettysburg connected on 31-of-63 (49.2) from the floor and 14-of-27 (51.9 percent) from three-point range. It is the second time this season the Bullets have knocked down 50 percent from beyond the arc in a game.
  • Del Val shot 30-of-59 (50.8 percent) and 11-of-12 (91.7 percent) from the free throw line.
  • The Bullets set a program record for consecutive games with 10 or more three-pointers. The 14 treys also tie for second all-time in a game as the team accomplished the single-game record last season at Dickinson College with 15.
  • Lord went perfect from three-point land, hitting all four of his attempts. In the last three games, he has drained 13-of-15 from beyond the arc.
  • Leder has scored in double-figures in each of his four games as a Bullet after transferring from Salisbury last year.
  • Antolini collected his seventh career 20-points or more effort.
  • Duffey tallied a career-high 16 points.
  • Gettysburg is off to its first 4-0 start since 2008-09. The team opened 4-0 that season.
Where the Series Stands
Today's game marked the third time the Bullets and Aggies have faced off and the first time that the two teams did not meet in the Gettysburg Tip-Off Tournament. Gettysburg defeated Delaware Valley 64-49 in 2003 and fell 69-62 back in 2016.

Next Up
Gettysburg plays its Centennial Conference opener on Tuesday, when it hosts Franklin & Marshall College at 8 p.m. in the nightcap of a women's-men's doubleheader.
