CARLISLE, Pa.—No. 12 Swarthmore College Women's Soccer played to a 1-1 draw against the Dickinson College Red Devils in a road match Saturday to open conference play.

Swarthmore remains unbeaten on the year at 4-0-1 while Dickinson picked up its second tie of the year (4-1-2).

Swarthmore out-shot Dickinson 20-7 and had nine shots on goal to the host's five.

The Garnet fell behind in the first half when Dickinson's Elizabeth Krause netted a goal in the 19th minute. Swarthmore took three shots on goal the rest of the first half but couldn't break through.

The Garnet finally got on the board in the 72nd minute with sophomore Sophia Stills punching in her first score of the season.

Swarthmore took two more shots on goal and had 10 shots in total the rest of the way.

Neither team could score in the two periods of extra time. Swarthmore senior goalkeeper Amy Shmoys came up with a save in the 108th minute to keep the decision at a draw. Shmoys recorded four saves on the day.

The Garnet are right back in action on Sunday at PSU-Berks on their way home from Dickinson.
