Jacobs' Goal Lifts Johns Hopkins to 1-0 Win at Muhlenberg

LeFevre Makes Career-Best Five Saves in Shutout

The Basics
• Score: Johns Hopkins-1, Muhlenberg-0
• Records: JHU (7-3-0, 2-2-0 CC) • MC (3-3-2, 0-2-1 CC)
• Location: Allentown, PA • Varsity Field
• The Short Story: Junior Connor Jacobs scored the game's only goal in the 79th minute to lift the Johns Hopkins men's soccer team to a 1-0 win at Muhlenberg Saturday night in Centennial Conference action.

How it Happened
• Both teams had their chances to get on the scoreboard but it took until the 78:43-mark and it was the visiting Blue Jays who broke through. Sophomore Nate Charendoff crossed the ball from the right sideline into middle of the Mules' box and Jacobs buried his first goal of the season.
• Sophomore Xander LeFevre would make three saves in the final 11 minutes as Muhlenberg pushed for the equalizer.
