For the second straight game, cold shooting in the second half spelled defeat for the Muhlenberg women's basketball team.
The Mules (2-6, 0-3) held a two-point lead at halftime but made only four second-half field goals and fell to Johns Hopkins, 47-38.

Sara Peretti continued her outstanding play, scoring a game-high 17 points for her third straight game in double figures.

Margaux Eripret (5) combined to score 11 points in the second quarter, with Eripret's three-point play giving Muhlenberg a five-point lead with under a minute to play.
The Blue Jays (5-3, 3-1) hit a three-pointer just before halftime and one early in the second half to take the lead. Johns Hopkins led by one at the end of the third quarter and scored the first five points of the final period to open up a six-point advantage.
Muhlenberg was within four, at 40-36, with six minutes left but did not make another field goal.
