Georgia Larzelere ’22 placed fourth in the 1,000-meter run at F&M

LANCASTER, Pa. –
Senior Georgia Larzelere (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) moved into third all-time in Bullets indoor history to lead the Gettysburg College women's track and field team in its first meet of the season on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall College.

Meet Highlights
  • In her first career 1,000-meter run, Larzelere placed fourth out of nine competitors, clocking 3:20.88. Her time now ranks third all-time in program history. Trout also competed in the same event and registered sixth place with a 3:24.69 time. She now ranks sixth all-time in program history.
  • The members of the 4x400-meter relay of junior Lily Morrell (Frederick, Md./Urbana), sophomore Anna Imrie (Wilton, Conn./Canterbury School), sophomore Emily O'Hara (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown), and Larzelere finished fourth with a time of 4:26.69.
  • Junior Amanda Addesso (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire), sophomore Emma Bernstein (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley), junior Rachel Nori (Avon, Conn./Avon), and sophomore Sammy Stadler (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) paced the 4x800-relay team to take fourth place with an 11:42.74 time.
  • Senior Ashlyn Booher (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) claimed fifth place in the mile run, clocking 5:54.94.
  • Nori and senior Kathrin O'Brien (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) finished fifth (20:49.58) and sixth (20:51.01), respectively, in the 5,000-meter run.
  • Freshman Franny Proto (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan) notched a sixth-place showing in the 800-meter run, clocking 2:38.67.
  • Callahan and Taylor both finished tied for eighth in the pole vault with a 9'0.25" mark. They now both rank tied for sixth all-time in indoor history at Gettysburg.
