The Muhlenberg track and field teams competed at Lehigh's Covert Classic in their final tuneup for the Centennial Conference Championships.
Senior
Ben Arehart won the men's high jump with an outdoor season best of 6-6¾. Only 17 Division III athletes have posted better marks this season.Â
Sophomores
Dylan DeMagistris and
Faith Fezenko continued their assault on the school records in the hammer, each improving on their previous record. DeMagistris upped his mark from 155-7 to 157-3, while Fezenko went from 131-5 to 132-10.
Junior
Elek Ferency also improved on his personal best in the hammer, while sophomore
Erica Borbi moved into third place on the program's all-time list in the hammer.
The Mules combined for five regional qualifiers - Arehart, DeMagistris in both the hammer and discus, sophomore
Noel House in the javelin and senior
Abby Dalton in the 1500.
Senior
Sarah Elhomsi (pictured above left) finished 10th overall and first among Division III competitors in the javelin. Freshman
Markus Vottero (pictured above right) took more than two minutes off his personal best in the 800, finishing in 2:01.48.
