Women’s Golf Tops Dickinson in Dual

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.  –
The Gettysburg College women's golf team out-scored Dickinson College 359 to 405 in a Centennial Conference dual at the Hanover Country Club Sunday.
 
Six Bullets competed in the cool weather as Gettysburg posted the same team score for the second consecutive day. Sophomore Skylar Frankiewicz (Concord, Mass./Concord Carlisle) paced the team with an 85 to place second, one stroke behind Dickinson's Hannah Heiring.
 
Senior Caroline McDonald (Skillman, N.J./Montgomery) turned in the best round of her collegiate career, posting an 88 to finish third. McDonald topped her previous personal best by six strokes.
 
Sophomore Hannah Fireman (Ambler, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) shot a 91 to take fourth. Junior Gillian Marini (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown), senior Fontaine McFeaters (Grove City, Pa./Grove City), and freshman Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry) shot 95, 96, and 117, respectively, to round out the lineup.
 
Gettysburg faces York (Pa.) College in a dual at the Country Club of York on April 12.
