• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's track & field team sits in fourth place after day one of competition of the Centennial Conference Championships as the team tallied 19 points during Friday's competition. Dickinson is currently in the lead with 22 total points.

Johns Hopkins Winners:
• Mitchell Porter took home first place in the decathlon long jump with a leap of 6.31m to earn him 655 points. He also claimed a first-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.82m to add 644 points to his day one total.
• Senior
Benjamin Huang won the pole vault event as he cleared 4.40-meters.
Other Meet Highlights:
• Porter earned a second-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 9.12m and finished fourth in the 100-meter dash as he crossed the line in 12.19. In the 400-meter dash, he crossed the line in third with a time of 53.88. He currently sits first overall in the event with 2,991 total points.

Jeff Braun gave the Blue Jays five points with his fourth-place finish in the 10k as he crossed the line in 32:02.88 while
Will Howe finished in fifth with a time of 32:08.89.
