The Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball and softball teams will once again be making their annual treks to a warmer climate during the week of spring break. If you can't join us in person, fans will have more than one way to follow the action, including live streaming of selected games.
Wentworth's baseball team will once again be competing in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational from March 8-14, and eight of the Leopards' 10 games will be played at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, Fla. LiveBarn is the official streaming provider for this event and has cameras stationed at all nine of the facility's fields.
For the first time in program history, the Leopard softball team will be competing at The Spring Games from March 8-14. Six of Wentworth's games will be played in Clermont, Fla., while the other four will be in Leesburg, Fla. FloSoftball is the official streaming provider for this event and Wentworth's 10 games are all scheduled to be streamed.
Both LiveBarn and FloSoftball are subscription-based companies, contracted by the tournament organizers to provide these streaming services, which can be viewed on a computer or through a mobile device by downloading an app. Please note that Wentworth does not produce these broadcasts and does not control pricing, quality, and/or any schedule changes. Inquiries regarding anything having to due with streaming of these events should be directed to the customer service department of the appropriate company.
In addition to video streaming, the Wentworth Athletic Communications staff will be accompanying both teams and, depending on internet availability/connections, anticipate providing live stats for all games.
