WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Gettysburg College wrestling team picked up its first dual win of the season with a 31-18 decision over Penn State Mont Alto at the Green Terror Duals hosted by McDaniel College Sunday afternoon.

Match Highlights
- The Bullets opened the day with a loss to Scranton. The Royals won the first three bouts before Mougalian and Devlin recorded a pin (1:51) and decision (11-5) at 149 and 157, respectively. Gettysburg's final win came via a second-period pin (2:08) by freshman Jon Stix (Lexington, Mass./Northfield Mount Hermon) at 197 pounds.
- Rowan College jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Thompson posted an 11-2 major decision over Justin Boylan at 141. After a decision by the Roadrunners at 149, Devlin sliced into the lead with a 16-0 technical fall (4:23). Rowan ran off three pins and two major decision to finish the bout.
- The Bullets ended the day with a victory over Penn State Mont Alto. With the score tied 9-9, Gettysburg ran off three-straight wins with sophomore Kelvin Cupay (Beach Park, Ill./Warren Township) scoring a pin (6:29) at 157, Larson posting a major decision (11-1) at 165, and sophomore Mason Canonico (Kailua, Hawaii/Punahou) earning a forfeit at 174. Freshman Brendan Loder (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) put the finishing touches on the win with a pin 20 seconds into the second period of his match at 197 pounds.
By the Numbers
- Devlin has reached rare territory as one of just 10 Gettysburg grapplers to eclipse 90 career wins. The senior's record stands at 91-32 and he is two wins shy of Steve Kareha '03 for seventh on the program's all-time list.
