BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's golf team recorded an 11
th place finish at the Moravian University Spring Classic on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bears had five members compete at the Olde Homstead Golf Course, a par-72 course that stretches over 6,710-yards in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania.
Junior
Billy Cardino paced the Ursinus squad with a tied for 23
rd finish behind a final tally of 84. Cardino tallied three pars over the front nine totaling a score of seven-over 43 and finished his round with a total of seven pars after shooting a 41 on the back nine.
Senior
Connor Huth turned in his lowest round of the season firing a 94 and finishing 51
st overall. Huth's round is his lowest score since shooting a 97 at the Ursinus Spring Invitational last Thursday. His day was highlighted with two birdies on the back nine including the par-5 12
th hole and the par-5 16
th hole.
Senior
Mike Magargee finished 52
nd overall with a final tally of 99. Magargee finished his round with four pars and a birdie on the par-4 18
th hole that stretches 386 yards. Junior Mike Nikolaou signed for a 104-finishing tied for 55
th overall while teammate
Joey Mullen finished 59
th with a final tally of 110.
The Bears return to action on Monday, April 10
th as they travel to Wilmington, Delaware to compete at the Swarthmore Dupont Invitational at the Dupont Country Club.
