POTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's golf team won the Ursinus Fall Invitational, while
Ben Lee,
Jackson Murphy and
Andy Xin all tied with one other golfer for first overall individually on Tuesday afternoon.
The Garnet totaled a team score of 303 (+19) to finish 24 strokes under the second place squad. Lee, Murphy and Xin led the effort with scores of 75 (+4) to claim first place finishes as individuals.
Ava Chon competed for the Garnet on the women's side. The first-year tied for second overall and shot a 82 (+11) in an impressive collegiate debut.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lee, Murphy and Xin all tied with a golfer from Jefferson University to take home first place as individuals. The trio shot a 75 (+4) on the afternoon to lead the field.

Neil Zhu competed as an individual and finished fifth overall with a score of 75 (+4). The effort marked a season-best for the freshman, who took four strokes off his debut score.
Alex Cheriel finished just behind Zhu with a seventh place effort. Cheriel carded a 78 (+7) on the afternoon.

Dylan Zhang placed just outside the top-10 with an 11th place finish. Zhang shot an 81 (+10) in his collegiate debut with the Garnet.
Zack Zawisny rounded out the Garnet scorers with an 84 (+13) to tie for 15th overall.
