THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg ran a preview of the 2022 NCAA regional course, placing 25th in a large field that was a mix of all divisions at the Lock Haven Invitational. The Bullets scored 717 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Connor Elliott (Media, Pa./Salesianum School [Del.]) led the Bullets, placing 38th overall with a time of 25:39.2. In the first 8,000-meter race of the season, Elliott broke 26 minutes for the first time in his career and posted the No. 4 overall 8K time in program history.
FOR THE FOES
• Cornell's Perry Mackinnon captured the individual title with a time of 24:15.1, leading a contingent of five competitors in the top seven to claim the team crown with 20 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Josh Judson (Arvada, Colo./Faith Christian) placed 170th overall with a time of 27:49.3 in his first action of the season.

Noah Albanese (Castleton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Maple Hill) crossed 213th overall with a time of 28:38.7.
•
Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) was 235th with a time of 29:24.2.
•
Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) finished 239th in a time of 29:32.3.
•
Joe Zimbler (Nesconset, N.Y./Smithtown East) placed 245h overall with a time of 29:56.6.

Aidan Martin (Middleburgh, N.Y./Middleburgh) rounded out the Gettysburg competitors in 27th place with a time of 32:45.8.
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 290 runners competed at the 8,000-meter distance.
• It was the first 8,000-meter race of the season for Gettysburg on the course that will host the regional championship on Nov. 12.
