MALVERN, Pa. - The Haverford College Women's Soccer team (1-0) returned to action with a bang on Thursday night, finding the back of the next seven times in a 7-0 blanking of Immaculata (0-1). The Fords fired 27 shots in the contest, holding Immaculata to just four.

Haverford's offensive barrage began in earnest in the 15th minute with Alyssa Saito finding Celia Page for the eventual game-winning goal. Less than a full minute later, the Fords were back in business with Page this time doing the assisting on a goal from Gabrielle Cipriano. Page once again saw her name dot the first-half box score in the 27th minute, finding Ashley Chun with an assist, allowing Chun to convert her first career goal for a 3-0 lead.

The second half saw a similar flurry of goals for the Fords as Saito teamed up with Liv McMillian in the 59th minute and Nora Gaby-Biegel tallied in the 66th, as the pair of sophomores seeing their first intercollegiate action each tallied their first career strikes. Gaby-Biegel then assisted on Chun's second goal of the evening in the 81st minute, and an unassisted tally from Rachel White, the senior's first career goal,  put a bow on the impressive offensive outburst with an 85th minute score.

Hannah Friedrich picked up her 10th career solo shutout in the effort, notching four saves on a seasonably comfortable evening. Haverford's seven goals were the most in a single contest since an October 24, 2018 victory over Bryn Mawr at home.

The Fords are now 4-0 all-time against Immaculata and have never surrendered a goal to the Mighty Macs. This was Haverford's first trip to Malvern since the 2010 season. Assistant coach Katie Van Aken '12 was among three Haverford goal scorers in that matchup.

Haverford will next return to action on Saturday, hosting day one of the Haverford College Kickoff Classic. The Fords will take on Arcadia at noon in the first of two contests, with Albright and TCNJ facing off at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the second match.
