LANCASTER, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 heartbreaker to Franklin & Marshall in the final minutes on Wednesday night, Sept. 14.

After falling behind when the Diplomats (3-1-1) scored the game's initial marker in the 30th minute, the Lions (2-2-2) pressed on late in the second half and were eventually rewarded with a penalty kick opportunity following an F&M foul in the box. Marc Rodgers came up clutch and converted the PK in the 84th minute to tie things up with just 5:56 remaining.

But an apparent draw was ripped from the Lions' grasp when Franklin & Marshall took advantage of a foul call on Penn State Harrisburg just outside the box with less than two minutes left and turned the ensuing free kick into the game-winning goal on a rebound attempt with 1:16 to play.
