LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Dickinson women's cross country team was the top finishing Division III team on Saturday at the Lock Haven Invite on the West Branch Cross Country Course as the Red and White took fifth in the 34-team field that consisted of teams from all three divisions.
Amiyah Priebe was the first Devil to cross the line in the Crimson 6k taking 31st with a time of 22:32.7. The duo of
Abigail Touhey and
Myra Naqvi ran together much of the day landing in 45th (22:44.3) and 46th (22:44.9) respectively.
Sammy Jo Barnes gave a good showing as well stopping the clock in 22:45.5 for a 49th-place result.
Elizabeth Cassell fell just inside the Top-60 in 59th with a mark of 23:04.2.
Hadley Shoaf posted a time of 23:59.9 for 109th, while
Maddie Garber clocked in at 24:10.7 (124th).
Izzy Clarke (24:28.8) and
Chloe Stidsen (25:33.8) also competed in the 285-runner field.Â
The Top-5 teams consisted of Cornell (37), Wayne State (67), Seton Hill (116), Slippery Rock (149), and the Red Devils (198). Jessica Hoffmann of the University of Scranton won the individual race with a time of 21:15.4.
A few members of the Red and White participated in the White 6k race with
Sadie Tunnell taking 38th in 25:52.8,
Rainier Bozarth landing in 80th at 27:29.7,
Skylar Stimson (86th - 27:56.5) and
Leah Bell (108th - 29:56.5).

Dickinson is back in action next Saturday, October 1st at the SUNY Geneseo Invite at the National Warplane Museum in New York beginning at 11am.
