SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Competing in their sixth and final Centennial Conference dual meet of the season, the Swarthmore men's swim team defeated Gettysburg College 158-104 on Saturday, Jan. 28th.
The Garnet put out a stellar performance against the Bullets, taking home seven individual wins and sweeping the relays. Junior
Ben Freeman shone for Swarthmore, notching victories in the 200 and 500 yard freestyles.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kicking off the meet strong, the quartet of sophomore Joseph Lukner, junior

Cole Griscavage tallied the Garnet's first W in the 400 yard medley relay, finishing with a time of 3:27.45.
- The only member of the Garnet to win multiple individual events, Freeman came out on top in both the 200 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle, putting up times of 1:42.64 and 4:47.45 respectively.
- Swarthmore saw event wins from Wesley, Wilson, Griscavage, first year

Jonathan Suh. Wesley won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 58.85, Ling put up a win in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:56.10, Suh triumphed in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.97, Griscavage squeaked out a victory in the 100 yard freestyle with his time on 47.18 (just 0.07 seconds faster than second place), and Wilson finished first in the 100 yard butterfly with a time 50.23.

Benton Greenberg led a 1-2-3 Garnet sweep of the 200 yard freestyle relay, finishing with a time of 1:25.65.
- With the win, the Garnet secure a perfect 6-0 record in Centennial dual meets.
