WILMINGTON, Del. - Swarthmore College Men's Golf earned a third-place finish at the Frederick W. Anton III Memorial Invitational at Rock Manor Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
Stevenson University, who shot 306 as a team, earned a first-place finish, while Chestnut Hill College (310) placed second as a team.
As a team, Swarthmore shot a 312 on the par-71, 6,405-yard course. The Garnet were led by
Ankur Malik, tied for sixth place, with a score of 76.
Alex Cheriel followed with a tied for 14th place finish with a score of 78.
Jackson Murphy and
Ben Lee each carded a score of 79 for an 18th place finish.
Michael Brown rounded out the Garnet top five with a card of 80.
Luis Park and
Chad Kemmerer each carded an 80 as individuals in the tournament.
Zack Zawisny and
Henry Lei finished the round with an 81, while
Samuel Bartolone carded an 84 for the Garnet.
Zack Rackauckas closed out the event with an 85.
Swarthmore will be back in action on Tuesday as they compete in the Ursinus Fall Invitational at Ravens Claw Golf Club.
