For the second straight weekend, the Muhlenberg men's golf team showed improvement between rounds of a two-day tournament.
The Mules cut 20 strokes off their score on the second day of the Montgomery Cup, played at Concord Country Club in West Chester, Pa.
Senior
Max Shapiro showed the greatest strides, knocking 11 strokes off his mark to shoot a career-best 86 in the second round. Shapiro
(pictured above) birdied the par-3 11th hole in the second round.
Freshman
Jake Ghamar cut seven strokes off his score, while sophomore
Joel Hark and senior
Austin Lancsak each improved by one stroke. Hark landed three birdies in the tournament and finished with a 36-hole total of 163.
