ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's golf team opened its spring campaign by shooting 311 and claiming second place on the opening day of the McDaniel Invitational hosted at The Bridges Golf Club on Saturday.

Match Summary
Gettysburg featured three players in the top 10, but the Bullets finished 17 strokes off the pace set by Franklin & Marshall, which had four players shoot two-over par or better on the par-72, 6,713-yard course. The Diplomats were led by Jas Fuhrer and Mike Gallagher who each shot 73s.
Senior
Quinn Greene (New Milford, Conn./Canterbury School), junior
Hayden Moffat (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham), and freshman
Evan Drummond (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) each finished at four-over par with matching 77s. Freshman
Cameron Deiuliis (Highland Md./River Hill) finished just outside the top 10 with an 80 to finish tied for 12th. Senior
Daniel Rieger (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) rounded out Gettysburg's starting five with an 84 to tie for 22nd.
