CARLISLE, Pa.—No. 32 Swarthmore College Men's Tennis resisted the Dickinson College Red Devils 6-3 on Saturday afternoon, improving to 4-0 in Centennial Conference action.
The Garnet won first and third doubles. John Lathrop and Thibault Vernier won 8-3 in first dubs while Noah Criss and Noah Cheng claimed third dubs 8-2.
In singles action, Lathrop got a 6-2, 6-2 win at second singles. The Noahs, Criss and Cheng won at third singles 6-1, 6-3 and sixth singles 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the match for the Garnet. Freshman Weiyi Zhu added a win for the Garnet at fifth singles 7-5, 6-2.
Swarthmore returns to action on Saturday at home to face nemesis Johns Hopkins University at noon.
