ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. –
The Gettysburg College men's golf team put an exclamation point on the end of the regular season by winning both the team and individual titles at its own invitational held at the Hanover Country Club Tuesday afternoon.

As a team, Gettysburg wrapped up its eighth team championship of the season with a 304 on the par-71, 6,474-yard course. The Bullets easily out-distanced Lebanon Valley College and Stevens Institute of Technology by 13 strokes. The eight titles establish a new program record for tournaments won in a single season. The previous mark was six achieved in 2015-16.

For the seventh time this season, Gettysburg swept both the team and individual titles as senior Danny Harcourt (Fanwood, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep) took home his fourth medalist honor of the season with an even-par 71. Harcourt, who won his 12th career event overall, logged five birdies and ended his day with a flourish, birdieing the final three holes to close out the back-nine one-under.

Harcourt's nearest competition was from freshman Tristan Hochman (Westport, Conn./Staples), who tied his season-low for the second consecutive round with a 74 on the way to grabbing runner-up. Hochman, who logged a 74 in the final round at the Rosemont College Invitational on Sunday, picked up a birdie on the par-5, 519-yard No. 1 hole and logged a total of 13 pars en route to his best finish of the season.

Sophomore Quinn Greene (New Milford, Conn./Canterbury School) tied for fifth with a six-over 77. Greene tallied birdies on the par-4, 332-yard ninth and the par-5, 505-yard 17th. It was the second-year golfer's third consecutive top-10 finish and his fifth overall this season.

Sophomores Jimmy Harcourt (Fanwood, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) and Daniel Rieger (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) rounded out the starting lineup for the Bullets. The younger Harcourt tied for 21st with an 82, while Rieger placed in a tie for 26th with an 84.

Three individuals took to the course for Gettysburg. Senior Christian Haldeman (Center Valley, Pa./Moravian Academy) and freshman Hayden Moffat (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) each shot 80 to finish in a tie for 14th. Both golfers recorded a birdie on the day with the senior getting his on the par-5, 535-yard fourth hole and the first-year notching his birdie on No. 17. Junior Ethan Murphy (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) completed the lineup with an 81 to tie for 17th.

Next up for Gettysburg is the Centennial Conference Championship at the Brookside Country Club on April 26-28. The Bullets are looking for their first conference title since 2002 and the team will boast the program's best single-season scoring average (300.9) heading into the event.
