Zanze Kuba-McCoy (Somerville, N.J./Somerville) recorded her sixth double-double of the season as Gettysburg College (13-11, 4-4 CC) dropped a 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-14) decision at Swarthmore College (14-10, 5-3 CC) in Centennial conference volleyball action inside Tarble Pavilion Saturday.

Match Summary
- Set 1: The opening set featured nine ties and five lead changes. Gettysburg pulled ahead by two (15-13) on an overpass kill by Higgins, but Swarthmore responded with an 8-0 run. The Bullets halted the run with two points coming out of a timeout before a set-ending four-point run by the hosts.
- Set 2: The Garnet rolled out to a quick 12-6 lead. A kill by Kuba-McCoy set the stage for a six-point flurry by the visitors to tie the contest. A 6-1 run by Swarthmore led to a Gettysburg timeout which once again stemmed the tide and opened the door for the Bullets to slice the deficit down to one at 18-17. The margin remained at one before a six-point run by the Garnet closed the decision.
- Set 3: Swarthmore led throughout the final set and posted 14 kills with just one error in 29 attack attempts (.448 hitting percentage). After pulling to 9-6, Gettysburg was unable to string together back-to-back points for the remainder of the set. The Garnet lead reached double-figures (19-9) on an ace by Carrasco.

- Swarthmore posted the best hitting percentage by an opponent against Gettysburg this season at .306. The Garnet only made eight attack errors.
- Kuba-McCoy recorded her sixth double-double of the season and third in the last four outings. The first-year outside hitter has notched double-figure kills in each of her last four matches.
