Two Muhlenberg wrestlers extended their personal winning streaks although the team had its streak snapped in Massachusetts.

The 21st-ranked Mules came into the day with a 10-match winning streak but fell to Brockport, 26-13, and Roger Williams, 24-15, at WPI.

Senior Dylan Schwartz and sophomore Luca Colestock both went 2-0 on the day.

Schwartz won both of his bouts at 165 by decision to improve his record on the season to 21-1. He has won 18 consecutive bouts since suffering his lone loss of the season, and he avenged that loss against Roger Williams.

When Schwartz faced the Hawks' Taylor Shay in November, the returning All-American was ranked fifth in Division III at 165; now he is a contender at 157. That match was extremely close, with Shay winning on the second rideout.

This time, Schwartz scored the lone takedown late in the first period, then held on for a 3-2 decision after the wrestlers exchanged escapes.

Colestock picked up a major decision and a decision to run his season record to 26-1. He is a perfect 18-0 in dual matches this season and has won 22 straight bouts in dual dating back to last season.

Colestock (pictured above) moved up to eighth at 197 in the latest NWCA rankings.

Senior Austin Sherman recorded his 90th career win with a 9-7 decision against Brockport and wrestled a tough match against the seventh-ranked 149-pounder in Division III before falling, 7-3. He is the fifth member of the Mules' 90-win club.

Like Schwartz, senior Scott Schaeffer avenged a loss from earlier in the season, pinning a Roger Williams opponent who had pinned him at King's.
