How It Happened…
  • First Half: Thomas took three of Gettysburg's four shots in the first 22 minutes of action and connected in the 27th minute. On his fourth attempt, he punched one into the net as Mazzone dished the pass, shooting into the lower left corner to put Gettysburg ahead 1-0. The Bullets finished the period outshooting the Bears 9-2.
  • Second Half: Thomas struck again in the 56th minute as Carroll slipped him a great pass in front of the goal as he kicked it into the lower left for his 13th goal of the season. The Bears cut the deficit 16 minutes later as the ball bounced off a Bullet defender, Cooper snatched the rebound and shot into the right side of the net. Gettysburg's defensive unit went to work as they only allowed Ursinus four shot attempts in the final period.
 By the Numbers
  • Gettysburg would outshoot Ursinus 20-6 and hold the 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
  • Thomas finished the regular season first in the league in goals (13) and second in points (29). He has corralled two goals in three matches, all of which have occurred towards the end of the season.
  • For the second time in three seasons, Gettysburg has notched 10 or more victories.
