LEHIGH, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country competed at the Paul Short 6K Brown Meet at Lehigh University on Saturday morning and posted a team time of 1:57.26.
Swarthmore finished 18th overall with 518 points.
Phoebe Whiteside led the Garnet with a time of 22:49 to finish 43rd overall.
Xiaojing Zeng came in just a few seconds behind at 22:53 for 51st place.
McKenzie HImelein-Wachowiak crossed in 23:26 for 90th overall.
Freshman
Rose Teszler came in 153rd place with a time of 23:59, and classmate
Nora Blodgett scored Swarthmore's fifth mark with a time of 24:19.
Hannah Gutow and
Pauline McMurry finished sixth and seventh for Swarthmore with times of 24:43 and 25:08, respectively.
The Garnet are back in action in two weeks at the Rowan Border Battle on Oct. 13.
