COLLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Swarthmore College Men's Track and Field competed in the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday at Ursinus College.
Brendan Penfold crossed the finish line of the 3,000-meter run in 9:14.19. The sophomore ended the race in 7th place, and was followed by
Lucas Heinzerling. The senior crossed in 10th place with a time of 9:17.44.
Deante Bryan finished the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.90 seconds, while
Ryan Mullins added a time of 8.13.
In the 200-meter run,
Adil Belgaumi crossed the finish line with a time of 23.66.
Sky Park finished the event in a time of 25.74, and Bryan added a mark of 26.17 seconds.
Evan Baker finished the 400-meter run with a time 56.63 seconds, and
Lukas Irwin crossed the event in 57.06 seconds.
The 800-meter run saw freshman
Aidan Cantine cross in a time of 2:02.05. Just steps behind the freshman,
Kevin Hudson finished the event in 14th place with a time of 2:02.07.
Chris Brandt added an 18th place finish with a time of 2:04.00.
In the mile,
Jonah Ring crossed the finish line in 13th place with a mark of 4:38.73.
The Garnet will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Haverford College to compete in the McElligot Invitational.
