• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's track & field took a 28-point lead after day two of the Centennial Conference Championships as Hopkins is now poised to claim its 10
th consecutive championship.

Johns Hopkins Winners:
• Arielle Summitt gave the Blue Jays 10 points with a victory in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:23.49.

Catharine Wain won the long jump in the heptathlon with a leap of 5.19 meters to add 612 points to her total and she also grabbed a first-place finish in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:27.89.

Annie Gutierrez won the heptathlon with 4,007 total points.
• Senior
Maya Hammonds won two events for the Blue Jays on day two as she claimed a first-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.77m and also won the high jump with a mark of 1.59m.
• Sophomore
Mikayla Bisignani won the discus event with a throw of 44.29m.
Other Meet Highlights:
•
Ava Kelley added six points for Hopkins with her third-place finish in the steeplechase as she crossed the finish line in 11:49.43.
• Wain notched a fifth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 20.31m as she finished third in the heptathlon with 3,711 points, just 43 points behind Maya Zimmerman of Swarthmore for second place.
• Gutierrez notched a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.03m and she also finished second in the javelin throw with a mark of 25.44m. In the 800-meter dash, she also finished second with a time of 2:32.52.
• In the long jump, JHU took home the fourth and fifth spots with Wain finishing fourth (5.18m) and
Veronica Montane finishing in fifth (5.13m). Gutierrez rounded out the scoring for the Blue Jays in the event with an eighth-place finish (4.94m).
• The Blue Jay 4x800 relay team grabbed a fifth-place finish with a time of 9:57.39.
