YORK, PA – The Cabrini women's golf team will look to move up the leader board on Monday, after closing the first round of the York Spartan Invitational in ninth place. The Cavaliers posted a team score of 448 on the par 72, 5,885 yard circuit at Regents Glen Country Club.

Senior Kelly Cahill led the Blue and White after shooting a 96 to finish 29th. Freshman Ashley Ea tied for 30th after today's round of 97.

Senior Marisa Linsky closed the day in 45th after carding a 119, while sophomore Kylie Ennis will open Monday's final round in 48th after today's 136.

York led the team leader board after posting a team score of 312 to lead Bridgewater (VA) by 17 strokes.

Stevenson's Casey Oppenheimer's 73 was good for a two stroke lead over York's Jordan Koller on the individual leader board. Shelby Tapman (78) and Natalie Robson (79), both from York, completed the top four with four players tied for fifth.

The Cavaliers will tee off at 10am for Monday's second round.
