Benjamin Ropiak '23 (Cos Cob, Conn./Greenwich) posted the best round relative to par by a Gettysburg College first-year in four years, shooting a two-under 70 on the way to a runner-up showing at the Dickinson College Fall Invitational held at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course Monday afternoon.

Match Summary: Ropiak turned in the best round relative to par by a Gettysburg freshman since
Dane Sethre-Hofstad '19 shot 5-under on the way to a school-record 67 at the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational on Sept. 21, 2015. Ropiak finished one stroke shy of medalist honors as fellow first-year Brandon Wilson from Dickinson shot a 69.
Moffat bested his career low by a stroke with a 75 to tie for seventh overall. Harcourt carded a 76 to tie for 13th, marking his third consecutive top-10 finish of the year.
As a team, Gettysburg turned in its best single round of the young season.
