Sophomore
Adam Marcus tied for 10th out of 96 competitors to lead the Muhlenberg men's golf team at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic.
Marcus shot 75 in the first round and 76 in the second for a two-day total of 151, easily topping his previous career best of 164 in a 36-hole tournament. Last year, he shot 168 at the Mason-Dixon Classic.
Marcus was consistent throughout the two rounds, never shooting worse than a bogey. He recorded three birdies on par-4 holes, the 17th in round 1 and the ninth and 13th in round 2.
Sophomore
Joel Hark also shot in the 70s in both rounds, finishing with a 155. He birdied 17 in both rounds and made it back-to-back birdies by shooting one under on 18 in the first round.
Freshman
Jake Ghamar and senior
Austin Lancsak notched a pair of birdies apiece. Ghamar
(pictured above) birdied the 540-yard 18, the second-longest hole on the course, in round 1 en route to a career-low 82, while Lancsak improved by 12 strokes to a career-best 78 in round 2.
