The Muhlenberg wrestling team opened up its Centennial Conference dual-meet schedule with a 26-13 win at Ursinus.
The previous two matches between the Mules and Bears were hotly contested competitions that both came down to the final bout. This time, 21st-ranked Muhlenberg (13-2) opened up a 19-0 lead after five bouts and was never seriously threatened.
Muhlenberg's two nationally ranked wrestlers, senior
Dylan Schwartz at 165 (ranked 10th by d3wrestle.com) and sophomore
Luca Colestock at 197 (ranked 10th by the NWCA), both won by major decision. Schwartz is 16-1, while Colestock is 21-1, with all but one of his wins coming with bonus points.
In between, senior
Brian Jamison won an 8-3 decision and senior
Jimmy Fratantoni (pictured above) extended his own school record by notching his 19th career technical fall.

Scott Schaeffer, whose close decisions clinched the Mules' 24-20 and 20-18 wins against Ursinus the last two years, won another close bout, 3-2.

Josh Hickey scored the most impressive win, a 16-2 major decision against a Bear who has been nationally ranked this season. Senior
