OWINGS MILLS, Md. - McDaniel recorded a pair of second-place finishes in a dual meet with Stevenson and St. Mary's (Md.) where they finished third. 

McDaniel junior Aleksei Dudley placed second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:19.14. He added a fifth-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:40.64) and was part of the 200 freestyle relay team that placed third with a time of 1:38.69. Christian Walker took home second-place in a pair of races including the 200 freestyle (1:53.16) and 200 butterfly with a time of 2:10.11. He placed fifth in the 400 IM (4:52.89) and was part of the 200 freestyle relay team (1:38.69).

Senior Jack Alperstein recorded two fourth-place finishes in the 100 freestyle (53.02) and 100 butterfly (1:00.16). In the 200 freestyle Alperstein placed fifth with a time of 2:04.83. He added a third-place finish as part of the 200 freestyle relay team. Matthew Lessler took home a fourth-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:05.45). Lessler placed fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:26.18) and sixth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.00. He added a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay.

McDaniel returns to action next Saturday at Washington College. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
