• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's track & field team concluded its opening meet of the outdoor season as the Blue Jays had many top-10 performances during day two action at the Fred Hardy Invitational.

Meet Highlights:

Maya Hammonds earned a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.57m while
Catharine Wain finished in sixth with a mark of 5.03m. The teammates also finished third and 10
th in the 100-meter hurdles as Hammonds came in third with a time of 15.66 while Wain finished in 17.87.
• In the javelin,
Veronica Montane finished in fourth with a throw of 38.47m.

Erin Brush crossed the line in third (2:18.14) while teammate
Therese Olshanski (2:18.30) finished just behind her in fourth in the 800-meter run.
Ariel Keklak came in sixth in the event with a time of 2:18.85.
• In the 3,000-meter run,
Catalina Spjut earned a sixth-place finish with a time of 11:14.14 while
Beatriz Ruan finished eighth with a time of 11:24.60.
• The Blue Jay 4x400 relay team of
Alexandra Damron,
Hailey Sheppell, Olshanski, and Brush finished in sixth with a time of 4:07.26 while the team of
Cassandra Factora,
Kenz Wilkinson,
Jackie Rieger and
Hannah Miller finished ninth with a time of 4:12.18.
