The Short Story: In a battle of the last two unbeaten in Centennial Conference play, the 23
rd-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team beat visiting Haverford, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon.

• Hopkins swept doubles to jump out to a 3-0 lead and went on to win five of six singles matches. Sophomore

Sophia Strickland lost just one game as they beat Emily Shutman and Clara Farrehi at first doubles. Sophomore

• Kashyap eefeated Shutman 6-3, 6-2 at first and Strickland clinched the win with a 6-1, 6-2 decision over Williams at second.
• Asokumar was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Farrehi at third while Gauch topped Johnson 6-1, 6-2 at fourth.
• Simon lost just one game as she bested Prakash 6-0, 6-1. Renata DiDonato grabbed a point for the Fords as she won 6-1, 7-6 (4) at sixth over senior

• Hopkins improves to 26-7 all-time against Haverford with its 25 straight win in the series.
• The Blue Jays have now won 128 consecutive conference regular season matches, dating back to March 2007.
