EWING, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track and field team wrapped up its regular season slate at The College of New Jersey for the Lion's Invite on Saturday.
Emily Trelstad stole the show with a first place effort in the high jump. The first year's mark bested the previous indoor and outdoor program records. They are currently tied for 19th in the country in the high jump.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trelstad defeated 20 other competitors with a first place finish in the high jump. The first year recorded a top mark of 1.65m (5'5") to set a new program record for the Garnet. Trelstad cleared the 1.65m bar on their first attempt.

Quinn Basewitz was 18th of 58 participants in the 800m run. The junior crossed the finish line at 2:27.40 for an outdoor best.

Alyssa Zhang was 10th in the long jump, while
Emma Chiao placed 13th. Zhang matched a personal best of 4.95m and Chiao set a new personal record of 4.91m. Chiao was also sixth in the triple jump with a 10.48m effort.

Jordyn Bernard set a new personal record in the shot put with a distance of 10.16m. They placed 27th overall in the event.
