th-ranked Johns Hopkins men's tennis team beat visiting Franklin & Marshall, 6-0, in the semifinals of the 2019 Centennial Conference Championship Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays grabbed a quick 3-0 lead on the Diplomats and then picked up wins at second, third and sixth to take the win. Sophomore
Vishnu Joshi and junior
Vik Vasan earned the first point of the match with an 8-4 win over Andrew Pace and Tristan Steffe at third doubles.
• Juniors
Joe Cartledge and
Austin Gu followed with an 8-3 win at first over Sam Bellersen and Adith Chandavarkar. Junior
Aaron Carey and senior
Scott Thygesen closed out the doubles' sweep when they beat Zack Levin and Isaac Salas, 8-4, at second.
• Thygesen was the first off the court in singles as he defeated Levin 6-2, 6-2 at third. Gu and Carey finished almost simultaneously at second and sixth, respectively. Gu beat Bellersen 6-2, 6-0 and Carey took a 6-3, 6-0 win over Adrian Charchalis at sixth.

• Hopkins evens its record versus Franklin & Marshall, as the teams are tied at 28-28. The Blue Jays have now won 20 consecutive against the Diplomats.
• The Blue Jays will make their 14
th appearance in the Centennial Conference title match and seeks its 13
