 Second Half:
  • Forty seconds into the final stanza, it looked like the Bullets were about to score as Thomas was fed a pass from junior Sam Lerman (Wayzata, Minn./Field School) inside the 18 on the right side, but his shot hit the right post.
  • Five minutes later, Mazzone came up the left side of the field and made a move on a LVC defender, finding an open Thomas on the right wing as he took a couple of dribbles and shot to the lower right for the first tally.
  • In the 84th minute, Carroll sent a long pass to Ozoh who made an excellent cut on a LVC defender and blasted a perfect shot that hit the right post to go into the goal, making it his first tally of the season.
  • The Bullets defense played outstanding as they only allowed two shots in the final 19 minutes of action.

Credit to our defense that helped subdue a dangerous LVC attack to earn the shutout."
