CHESTER, Pa. - Swarthmore College Men's Track & Field junior
Adil Belgaumi led the team with a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash by finishing the race in 11.53 seconds at the Chester Quarry Classic on Saturday.
Belgaumi is currently ranked seventh in Swarthmore's record book in the 100 because of his 11.38-second mark last season.
Senior
Robert Eppley, junior
Graham Doskoch and sophomore
Alex Flowers all placed second in their respective events at Widener.
Doskoch ran 5,000 meters in 17:29.08, Eppley completed the 110 hurdles in 15.97 seconds, and Flowers cleared 4.10 meters (13 feet 5.25 inches) in the pole vault.
The Garnet return to Chester on Friday at 3 p.m. for the Widener Invitational. A portion of the team will go to Princeton for the Larry Ellis Invite.
