SWARTHMORE, Pa -- Swarthmore College Volleyball earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference Tournament after beating Haverford College 3-0 on Senior Day at Tarble Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.

Mehra den Braven became the seventh player in Swarthmore volleyball history to record 1,000 career kills during the first set.
In Swarthmore's 12th sweep of the season on Saturday, the Garnet won the sets 25-15, 25-19, 26-24. Swarthmore's only deficit on the day was a 1-0 start to the third set in favor of the Fords (11-17, 4-6).

Emma Morgan-Bennett was the only player in the match to record double-digit kills. She had 10 to go along with a match-high five total blocks.
Den Braven led Swarthmore with 13 digs while Girard and sophomore setter
Alyssa Nathan had 11 each. Girard is 22 digs away from becoming the first player in Swarthmore history to record 2,000 digs in a career. She also had a season-high four aces in the victory.
The Garnet will face No. 2-seed Johns Hopkins University in the semifinals of the conference playoffs on Nov. 3 at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
