Match Summary: Kalamar beat his personal low by a stroke and grabbed medalist honors for the first time in his career. The sophomore opened the day with a pair of birdies on the first two holes and finished out his round with a birdie on the par-5, 540-yard 18th. Kalamar recorded 10 pars in the round.
Hochman and Gilchrist were seeing their first action on the course this fall. Hochman turned in birdies on the par-5, 476-yard fifth hole and the par-4, 372-yard 17th. Gilchrist shaved six strokes off his front nine total on the back of the course and capped the day with four consecutive pars.
