HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College field hockey team (3-0) closed out Labor Day Weekend with a 4-0 victory over Immaculata (0-2) on Monday afternoon, remaining undefeated through its first three contests for the fourth consecutive season. The Fords controlled the offensive rhythm in the contest throughout, allowing the Mighty Macs to set up only one offensive chance across midfield throughout the 60 minutes of action.

The Fords scored on their first offensive chance of the contest, earning a corner and capitalizing on a deflection in the third minute. After Dalia Bercow sent a strong pass into the circle, Anna Kirn rocketed a shot in on cage, and the save bounced off the pads of the Immaculata goalkeeper and back to the waiting stick of Ravenel Davis, who beat the keeper out of position to open the scoring. The strike was the second goal of the year for Davis.

At the halftime intermission, Haverford held a 20-1 shot advantage and earned eight penalty corners while surrendering just one to the visitors.

The hosts came out charging after the intermission, putting three goals in the back of the cage. Davis tallied her second of the contest as Delaney Snowden sent a pass in to just in front of the goal, setting up Davis on the doorstep to double the advantage at 2-0. The third goal of the contest came with just under two minutes left in the third period, with Olivia Ahart sending in a pass from the right side of the circle that found the waiting stick of Davis yet again as the senior recorded her first career hat-trick with the tally.

Haverford put an exclamation mark on its offensive outburst in the fourth quarter, with Zora Dallman sending in a pass off a restart to Snowden at the top of the circle. Snowden slotted her shot past the new Immaculata keeper for the fourth goal of the contest. Ahart paced the Fords with six shots, while Snowden peppered four on target. Haverford's 41 shots are tied for the 10th-most in program history. Haverford has now won 16 straight matchups with the Mighty Macs, a stretch that dates back to 1986.

The Fords will next return to action on Wednesday at home against DeSales. The contest is slated to begin at 5 p.m. on Swan Field. The two teams have met just once before, a 3-2 double overtime win for DeSales in Haverford during the 2004 season.
